You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the site.

  • misuse the website by knowingly introducing malicious material;

  • attempt unauthorised access to the website or server;

  • copy or reproduce content without permission.

We reserve the right to restrict access to the site where necessary.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All photographs, text, and content displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of Glavind Strachan Photography unless otherwise stated.

All images are protected under UK and international copyright law.

You may not:

  • download images for commercial use;

  • reproduce, distribute, modify, or publish images;

  • use images for marketing, AI training, or commercial purposes

without prior written permission.

Unauthorised commercial use may result in licensing fees and legal action where appropriate.

4. Products and Services

Products may include:

  • photographic prints

  • digital images (where offered)

  • photography workshops or guided walks

  • commissioned photography services

All descriptions and images are presented as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour or appearance may occur due to screen calibration and print processes.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time prior to order confirmation.

Payment must be received in full before products are dispatched or services delivered.

Payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store payment card details.

6. Formation of Contract

A legally binding contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email following successful payment.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders where necessary, including pricing errors or availability issues. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

7. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on production schedules and shipping providers.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs processing, or events outside our reasonable control.

Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery.

8. Consumer Cancellation Rights (Distance Selling)

If you are purchasing as a consumer within the UK or EU, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing via email.

Exceptions

The cancellation right does not apply to:

  • bespoke or made-to-order prints;

  • personalised or commissioned work;

  • services scheduled within the cancellation period where performance has begun with your consent.

9. Returns and Refunds

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence where possible.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer:

  • replacement,

  • repair, or

  • refund,

in accordance with UK consumer law.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of agreement or receipt of returned goods.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

10. Workshops, Walks, and Photography Services

For workshops or guided photography experiences:

  • bookings may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather or unforeseen circumstances;

  • alternative dates or refunds will be offered where events cannot proceed.

  • Services cancelled within 14 full days of due date will receive a full/partial refund or rebooking credit depending upon agreed terms.

  • No show on the day will require full payment of any outstanding amounts.

Participants are responsible for their own clothing, equipment, personal insurance and for following safety instructions.

We take reasonable care in planning routes and assessing conditions, but Dartmoor is a natural environment and some inherent risk remains.

We are not liable for personal injury except where caused by negligence.

  • Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, unless explicit permission to the contrary has been agreed upon beforehand.

  • Any relevant health or mobility issues should be disclosed in advance so appropriate routes can be planned.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any purchase shall not exceed the price paid for the relevant product or service.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit, business, or opportunity.

We aim to keep this website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content.

Content may be updated or removed without notice.

We welcome sharing of our work for non-commercial purposes provided that:

  • images are not altered;

  • full credit and a link to the website are included.

Commercial or promotional use always requires permission.

We are not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, transport disruption, or technical failures.

Returns Policy

Unless otherwise stated, all my products are now produced for me by a professional printing service - if there are any problems with the quality of the printed works, or delays in delivery etc, please contact me directly and I will liaise with the printers and rectify any problems as soon as possible.

If any work needs to be returned, I will provide appropriate postage and will refund you the cost of the print (and postage) once I have received the returned goods or organise a replacement to be sent to you if that is what you prefer.

As my work is printed by a third party, I cannot guarantee time scales, but will endeavour to chase my printers and provide you with updates at every stage
