Naturcontact have terrible Customer Service - Or, why you really should be to writing reviews on Trustpilot 😂
Naturcontact Order #40794
On 6th December I wrote a review of this company on Trustpilot - please read this and feel free to return to this page and find out more about why it’s important to tell others about your experiences.
As you’ll see from the review, I was mostly annoyed that I’d been conned into buying a pair of NOT waterproof NOT hiking boots, where it becomes apparent you aren’t going to get a refund if you’ve worn the boots.
Maybe I should have just requested my money back from PayPal? (Actually I’m going to look into that, considering the lengths Naturcontact have now gone to in attempts to have my review removed 😂)
On the 7th December I received this email from Trustpilot:
I was a bit miffed about this, but thought … OK, maybe mentioning Freet and Vivobarefoot (even though pointing out their refund policy wasn’t terrible is hardly promoting them, especially in comparison to the abysmal effort from Naturcontact) I edited my review to remove any mention of other companies.
Trustpilot put my review back up - The ORIGINAL review 😂
Not happy with this Naturcontact tried again … and at least this time this all happened whilst I was asleep, on the 9th December I received two emails from Trustpilot - claiming I had made defamatory remarks about Naturcontact … here’s the second email (the relevant one) …
So, no defamatory content … I thought that would be the end of it, but no, today the 15th December, I get this email from Trustpilot …
Now, I distinctly remember writing my order number on my review on Trustpilot, and although Naturcontact’s automated marketing emails seem to think I’m called MR … you can see from the review I left for their website (which mysteriously seems to not appear there) that I am also referred to as Mr P. This leaves me to wonder, why, oh why, oh why do they need more details?
Oh yes, here’s the reason … “If we don’t hear from you, the company may not be able to recognize your review as genuine.” 😂
FFS … you KNOW who I am - YOU have my money. my full name, my home address, my email address AND (this is where it get’s interesting, and why I encourage everybody to write reviews, even when crappy companies are willing to spend plenty of time hassling you into just giving up) … Naturcontact also have my telephone number and know a great deal more about me, because they have been stalking my website for the last week or so 😂
Here’s the email I wrote in reply to being offered some waterproof spray (the email they never actually replied to)
The important bit to note here is “I'll just have to console myself with writing a blog entry about how they're actually for walking in the park (something which absolutely nobody will read, so no worries there).”
Now, the more enlightened amongst you will know I’m fairly tech savvy and indeed build websites now and again, so you’ll not be surprised to know (although this website is built on Squarespace) I know my way around data - data like who is looking at what on my website.
Started to notice a great deal of traffic from China, specifically looking at my Blog, but also several other pages 🤣
Same IP grouping and all coming from Singapore. I wonder where Naturcontact might be based?
I’ve not been keeping a close eye on this (tbf I was actually going to wait until they stopped looking before I wrote a blog entry) but I’ve counted well over a dozen logins and I’m only writing this now since they are trying to have my review removed AGAIN 😂
All these views are from the same IP cluster 😁 - All Singapore.
I’m just about to fill in the online form for Trustpilot, and I had a few words for the lovely people at Naturcontact (who are no doubt enjoying reading this).
Maybe you dickheads should have just taken notice that you’re boots aren’t fit to be called Hiking Boots - a voucher or a part refund and you’d have probably saved yourselves any adverse publicity 🤣
I’m not massively keen on wasting my time writing stuff which will never benefit me whatsoever. I will however, henceforth, be writing reviews on Trustpilot for ever terrible interaction I have online.
You have had the time to ask for my TrustPilot review to be removed (twice) and now you are attempting to annoy me into giving up, yet you have not made the time to address a real world issue with your product, which will continue to be a problem whether or not you manage to silence me.
Somebody in your team has also spent a great deal of time checking my Blog. Presumably to see if I write anything derogatory about your company. (Hi there person in Singapore who keeps checking on my Blog!)
How much is that costing you?
I’m an absolute nobody with no money, no power and no influence and you could have made me go away with a little politeness and at least a part refund 😂
Granted, you did try an flob me off with some waterproof spray “worth £25” - I’ll give you a 1/10 for effort 🤣
My review was 100% honest and 100% heartfelt and you are idiots.
P.S You now owe me £275 for the time it has taken me to collate and submit this information to the good people of the internet 🤣
Just adding in my Facebook and Instagram Posts, so hopefully this blog post gets picked up by search engines 😂
My work here is done 😜
