Autumn on the East Okement River - Hahnemühle Photo Rag Fine Art Print - Available in A4,A3 & A2
Known locally by many as Fatherford Wood, but more correctly Halstock Wood, the walk along the river on the edge of Okehampton is a joy in any season.
On the right of the image, you can make out a stone pathway, presumably put there in times gone by. Massive stones making a passage between the steep hillside and the fast eroding riverbank.
I once met a chap here in the summer, moving water from the river to the ‘pools’ that form to the right of the stone pathway.
Using a bucket and joined by his son, who was also swimming in the river, he told me he was replacing the water that had evaporated from the puddles where the local frogs had spawned.
That chap was Dave.

My prints are supplied with a small white border. On an A2 print this is approximately 10mm wide, on an A3 print, approximately 7mm and on an A4 print, roughly 5mm.
