Do you want to learn a little bit more about your camera’s functions? Interested in making your family photos look a little more interesting?
A practical ‘hands on’ approach to photography.
Although I normally shoot with old film camera lenses, I will be running this workshop with a cheap Digital SLR and the standard kit lens it comes with (Lumix G2 approximately £100 from eBay).
The plan is to provide this workshop for free (there may be a small charge to cover the hire of a location, but this is dependant upon the interest shown).
This workshop is NOT about having the best kit, or the biggest lens, it is about the joy of photography.
Regular viewers of my work will know that I sometimes use the most basic of equipment - photography is all about how you see things, not about how you achieve them. Yes, there are rules, but sometimes knowing these and maybe even bending them a little, can give you some very interesting results!
Obviously the ‘camera’ you have will dictate what you can and cannot achieve, you will however definitely learn something 😂
I’m happy for anybody to come along to these workshops (dates to be confirmed once I know what interest there might be) and for people to get in touch and let me know what sort of things they’d like to learn more about 😍
